RILEY WHIPPLE was born in Beijing, China, and has lived in Newark, Delaware, for most of her life. She received her BFA- Fine Arts from the University of Delaware with a minor in art history. She explores her fascination with experimentation, repetition, and the creative process through ceramics, sculpture, printmaking, and photography. Her work has been featured at the University’s Annual Undergrad Juried Exhibitions and shecompleted photography-based research with a grant through the Summer Scholars Program. Whipple co-juried a ceramic show, Reclaimed: Transformation Through Clay, and studied art abroad in Santiago and Valparaíso, Chile.
