KATYE LEGGETT is a painter and fiber artist and second year MFA candidate at Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana. Katye makes acrylic paintings with hand sewn elements in order to reflect on girlhood, process female identity, and question domesticity’s role in a patriarchal society.
